About the artist....
Sylvia Hill is a visual artist based in Bray, Co. Wicklow.
She works through the mediums of drawing, paint, print and textiles. Her work revolves around themes such as memories or dreams, childhood and the subconscious. She often uses nature as a vehicle to express her ideas.
She has exhibited widely in many selected open submission shows nationwide and has 4 solo exhibitions to her name. She has been granted residencies in the Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig and at the artist's retreat - Cill Rialaig, Ballinaskelligs, Co. Kerry.
She is currently studying with the RHA school in Dublin. In March 2021, she was chosen as Artist of the week by Maurice Ward Art handling.
