COLLABORATion project METAMORPHOSIS 2021- 2023
About this project.......
The work on this page is a response to the theme of Metamorphosis given to us as a collaborative project for members of Artnetdlr - an arts group based in Dun Laoghaire. There were 33 groups of artists exhibiting in the newly refurbished- Walters, Bar, Dun Laoghaire which opened in December 2021.
Our group consisted of Eleanor Dawson- Musician, Ashleigh Downey - Visual artist, myself and Justyna Kosmulska- Musician.
The photographic prints here are my contribution to the collaboration. Our project pathless land- was influenced by our contact with nature over the pandemic. We focused on four words or themes that kept cropping up - seed, egg, meander and female energy. Our exhibition- Pathless Land - will now tour and next stop is Signal Arts Centre, Bray, Co. Wicklow in November 2023. We are hoping to travel our show nationwide.
